WEEKEND

Sink brimming,

Dirty dishes,

Cloths,

Walls,

Even the messed-up bed doesn't bother us.

Our bodies are in sync,

Moving,

The slow dances,

On the kitchen floor,

The medallion light from the ceiling, which was indeed overloaded,

With desires,

Dreams,

and so much more.

Friday evening,

Soaking the tiredness,

Seeking comfort,

Your head on my belly, my hands on your face,

Anticipating,

What’s next.
