CHEESE CAKE

Cheesecake distributed evenly among all,

Autumn is here and the dead leaves shall fall,

Time is ultimately deciding our superior or terrible faith,

I see something over there like a clumsy wraith.

Cheesecake is only white out of all remaining colors,

Life is an amusing mixture of emotional flavors,

Queen is the most powerful piece in chess,

Whenever I cook, I create a complete mess.

Cheesecake is amazingly smooth and creamy,

I woke up confused and my eyes all dreamy,

That rose plant is all perfumed and filled with flowers,

Life will improve drastically if we reduce stupid blunders.

Cheesecake crumbles lying on the floor,

I couldn’t be happier for my Europe tour,

I can’t take it anymore, I finally confessed,

I could even die staring at him feeling utterly blessed.

Cheesecake is finished now but I wanted more,

The purest form of love should live evermore,

I love it when I go shopping and get coupons for free.

The ending might not as pleasing as it was aimed to be.

(This poem of mine stood 3rd in the Dikotomy creative poetry competition, organized by Colloquium-NSUT's Literary and Debating Festival.)
